All devices have a VIO supply that is used to set the digital input thresholds and digital output levels. The input thresholds are ratio metric to the VIO supply using CMOS input levels, making them scalable for μPs with digital IOs from 2.8V to 5V. The high level output voltages for the RXD and nFAULT output pins are driven to VIO level for logic high output.
